First connection setup and bundle activation

Important

YOUR MOBILE PHONE MUST BE UNLOCKED TO FUNCTION

Please first verify that your phone is unlocked then please check the following phone settings

  • Our SIM is inside (or eSIM is activated)
  • Your phone is ON
  • AirPlane mode is turned OFF
  • WiFi is turned OFF
  • Cellular Data is turned ON
  • APN Access point name is configured if required within your SIM Settings
  • Roaming and Data Roaming is turned ON
  • Carrier is set to Automatic

When verification is completed, turn OFF and ON your phone and allow some time to scan the network carrier and negotiate connection to your subscribed network carrier.
Verify the coverage through the signal control located (top left or right of the phone) as it should be a minimum of 2 bar to ensure acceptable signal quality.

If for any reason the automatic selected carrier is not the one you are subscribed to, you should Switch the carrier setting  to manual in order to select your subscribed network carrier.

Your subscribed network carrier by country are available in your member area under SIM Settings*.

As soon you are connected you must activate the bundle by dialling the corresponding code available from  your member area under SIM Setting* > SIM card number

Important: Below you will find copy of the instructions the coverage and the activation code are set as per the basic bundle, the coverage and activation code  for your SIM is available into you member area and those are updated live and must be checked for each trip or from time to time if any issue.

Example of the activation code for the "DayPass" Eurail Roaming bundle: To activate the daily bundle (24 hours auto renew) you must dial once connected to the subscribed network carrier the following code: *65418#

Instructions and code are available into your member area > SIM Settings > detail > bundle, you will find the available code for each available bundle. This code must dialled from your mobile (once connected to your subscribed carrier) it will activate the bundle in reference, the activation is almost immediate providing you have the available credit in your account.

Once you get connected to the subscribed network carrier, your phone setting allow also to control  cellular data usage apps by apps, ensure that your settings correspond to your requirement. For all those settings you must refer to your phone user guide.
You will receive a message when you reach 90% of your daily allowance.
Any data usage you made during a period of 24 hours are covered.
But if you connect to another network that is not include in the bundle you will be charged by MB as you go.
This facility is open when you cannot get temporary coverage or satisfactory speed within the bundle, you can block network within your phone to limit the usage to the bundle networks by selecting the carrier manually when you reach a new country on.

Note: As with any mobile device, data connectivity is very reliant on a number of factors, including;

1. Your device capability
2. The local networks capability
3. And - having a good signal
4. And - not having network congestion

If the mobile signal is weak or fluctuating data sessions may drop out. If you experience connection issues, always try manually connecting to a different subscribed network if available, or setting your SIM/device to "GSM only". This may give a more stable but slower connection speed.
